Look on the bright side

The Prudencio Saez 1 F-P has a solid cypress back and sides, a wood traditionally used in the construction of flamenco guitars due to its ability to project sound. It is also the luthiers’ material of choice for its bright and punchy flamenco tone and brilliant clear sound. The Prudencio Saez 1 F-P comes in a choice of solid cedar top or solid spruce top. Solid cedar produces a powerful and mature sound from the get go and has a warmer, darker tone. Spruce takes a little longer playing time to reveal its full potential and has a brighter and sharper sound. It’s a good choice if you are looking for clarity and volume.

Whatever the choice of soundboard, it is a very comfortable guitar to play, with very low action and strings close to the neck.
