In the last 2017 Musikmesse Frankfurt fair, Alhambra Guitars has presented up to ten new models of classical guitars, flamenco guitars and acoustic guitars. Here are some of them:

Alhambra presented a new color for its popular entry level model 1C. The Alhambra 1C Black Satin. This beautiful guitar features a solid cedar top, mahogany back and sides and rosewood fingerboard and bridge. The new black satin finish gives the guitar a very interesting and inusual look on a classical guitar.

There is also a novelty regarding the Z-Nature guitar range, in this case with a narrow body model and with preamp EZ Fishman  Classic II, the Alhambra Z-Nature CT EZ. A guitar that will amaze you for its comfort and its incredible sound for such a narrow body. As the rest of the Z Nature range, the guitar comes with a very thin layer of mate varnish.

On flamenco guitars it is important to highlight the new Piñana series models. These guitars have been developed in collaboration with the flamenco guitarist Carlos Piñana.

In particular, the Alhambra 5 Fp OP Piñana and Alhambra 10 Fp Piñana where introduced. Both models elaborated with the specifications of this guitarist.

The Alhambra 5 FP OP Piñana is a Flamenco Negra guitar made with Indian Rosewood back and sides, with a solid cedar top. The neck has an internal ebony reinforcement under the ebony fretboard, This Flamenco Negra guitar comes with a new headstock and Open Pore finish that gives the guitar a beautiful natural look and makes the guitar very resonant and light.

The Alhambra 10 FP Piñana Flamenco Negra guitar is made with top quality solid Indian rosewood for the sides and back, and a solid cedar top. In addition, this guitar incorporates a new characteristic design in the head and the new low profile Alhambra’s guitar neck. A very thin layer of satin varnish gives the guitar a gorgeous and elegant finish.

In acoustic guitars, Alhambra has presented the model Appalachian W-100 CW OP E7 , an acoustic guitar with Dreadnought body, with Cutaway. In this case the guitar incorporates the Open Pore finish, a natural satin finish where the pores of the guitar remain open, which allows the sound of the guitar to have a great resonance.
